The Salon

A room built around the people in it.

Georgie Roo’s is a personal-service salon in the Downtown Wylie Historic District — eight independent hair and beauty professionals sharing one beautiful space.

Personal service, in the truest sense

Most salons are built around throughput. Ours is built around the guest in the chair. Every station at Georgie Roo’s is run by an independent, licensed professional who owns their own book, sets their own schedule and answers for their own work — which means the person who consults with you is the person who colors your hair, and the person who colors your hair is the person you text when you want to go two shades lighter next time.

That structure changes the whole experience. Appointments are spaced so a consultation isn’t a thirty-second formality. Color processes on your hair’s timeline rather than the clock’s. And nobody is working a script, because nobody is chasing someone else’s retail target.

“The best hair care and aesthetics in the heart of the Downtown Wylie Historic District.”

Where we are

We’re at 301 N 1st Street, right in the historic district — the walkable part of Wylie, with brick storefronts, boutiques and coffee within a block. It’s an easy place to spend the twenty minutes while your color processes, and an easy place to park once and stay a while. Guests come in from Sachse, Murphy, Lavon, Rockwall and east Plano.

Hair and skin, under one roof

Alongside the hair chairs, we offer aesthetics: neurotoxin and dermal filler with a licensed injector, facials and skincare, and professional makeup application. Having both in one building is a quiet luxury — it’s what makes a wedding morning, a milestone birthday or a photography session simple to coordinate instead of a logistics exercise across three businesses.

What we care about

  • Honesty over the upsell. If your goal takes three sessions, we’ll tell you it takes three sessions. If a service isn’t right for your hair, we’ll say so.
  • Hair integrity first. Getting there fast is easy. Getting there with hair that still feels like hair takes judgement, and that judgement is what you’re paying for.
  • A room with good morale. Stylists who like where they work do better work. It’s not a slogan — it’s the whole business model.

A note on pricing

You won’t find a fixed price list here, and that’s deliberate. Each stylist sets their own pricing based on their experience, the products they use and the time your hair actually needs — density, length, color history and target all change the work involved. Your stylist quotes you at consultation, before anything begins. More on how that works →

How a Visit Works

Four steps, no surprises.

Choose your chair

Browse the stylists, match the specialties to what you want, and call or text them directly.

Consultation

You talk through the goal, your hair’s history and what’s realistic. You get a quote before anything starts.

The appointment

Time is booked for the service your hair needs — not a standard slot that rushes the finish.

Home care

You leave knowing how to style it, how long it will last and when to come back.

Ready When You Are

Let’s make it the best your hair has ever looked.

Pick a stylist, send a text, or request a time online. First visit? Ask for a consultation — it’s the best fifteen minutes you can give your hair.
