Services
Smoothing, texture and the end of the frizz war.
Keratin treatments, Brazilian Blowouts, restorative conditioning and perms — because North Texas humidity does not negotiate.
If your morning routine is thirty minutes of fighting your own hair, a smoothing treatment will give you that time back. Done properly, it cuts drying time dramatically, kills frizz for months and leaves your natural texture intact rather than poker-flat — unless flat is what you want.
Keratin vs Brazilian Blowout
Both smooth. They behave differently.
- Keratin treatments tend to give the most dramatic reduction in curl and volume, with a longer post-service waiting period before your first wash.
- Brazilian Blowout smooths and seals with essentially no downtime — you can wash and style the same day — and keeps more of your natural movement.
Which one you want depends on how much of your curl you actually want to lose. Say that out loud at the consultation; it’s the deciding factor.
How long it lasts
Expect roughly three to five months depending on your hair, your wash frequency and your shampoo. Sulphate-free is not a marketing preference here — sulphates strip the treatment out early.
Repair and conditioning
Not everything needs a smoothing service. Sometimes the answer is a deep-conditioning or bond-building treatment to bring elasticity back before any color work happens. Your stylist will tell you which order these belong in — treatment first, color second, is often the difference between a good result and a disappointing one.
Perms and texture
Going the other way — modern perming for body and movement rather than eighties curl — is available with several of our stylists. It suits fine, flat hair beautifully and is far gentler than its reputation.
